Not able to open .doc file generated using SPDocGen.

Not able to open .doc file. Throws error "A document must contain exactly one root element".
 
I ran the control on server, copied .doc/XML to my local system.
Opening both throws an error.

Did you get any errors during report creation on the server? What was the output from the console execution? Can you attach the files here so that I can look at them?

I did not get any error while running report and console execution was fine.
